Hi everyone! I'm an ADN student in Texas and I finish in May 2009. I grew up in Centennial and my husband and I are fairly certain we want to move back up to Denver after I graduate.
I have a couple of questions.. first of all, I will be taking the NCLEX here in Texas, so would I have to take it again up there or can I get my license transferred?
I saw the thread on the best hospitals in Denver, and I'm considering Denver Health, although I'm not sure about living in the area. The only area I really know is Centennial and I'm not sure what other parts of town would be a good place to go?
And last.. I am going to get my BSN online as soon as I can. There is a school here that I have all the pre-reqs for that only has five meetings for the one year program. I'm not sure if it would be best to go ahead with that program and fly back for the meetings or if I should wait and go to one up there? I heard you have to be a Colorado resident to do it and I have no idea how long it would take to be considered a resident?
I know I have a lot of questions, but I'd appreciate any input : )
Thanks! I wish I was already up there, it's so humid and hot right now!
