Hey Nurses!
I am writing to get some advice. In the beginning of September we ( Hubs & I) are moving to Texas and I completely confused. I have been looking at schools, houses and jobs like crazy the past month and I am honestly about to break! I am not sure if I should put off on going back to school until we are settled in. I have a couple if schools in mind and have a couple of interviews ( in an actual hospital... On Tele floors, Med-Surg floors and inpatient rehab!) lined up as well. So should I hold off on a bridge program? I don't want to have to study for work AND school at the same time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I relocated to Texas almost 8 years ago and took some time to settle in before even thinking about jumping into school again. In fact, I did not attend any schooling until nine months after arriving in Texas. Your mileage may vary.
Learning your way around your new city will take time, even in this modern era of navigation and GPS apps on our phones. In addition, starting a new job with a new workplace culture can induce stress. I would tackle one issue at a time.
Good luck to you!

Agreed! Also some jobs help pay for school too after probation.
