Published

Hello everyone I am just starting a thread to see if anyone else plans on applying to Mountain View in the fall for spring 2020. Or anyone who goes there how many points should I strive for to get into the programs. Hope to hear from y’all.

Just passing along the information. I guess it could be this? The word titer in parenthesis?

Thank you! Gonna get on it ASAP!!

Yeah same here too, I have mine scheduled for tomorrow. Good luck ?

Agreed. Titers and shots are better done early bc some of those, if needed, are time consuming. I’ve heard of plenty of people that weren’t able to follow through bc they weren’t able to get them done by deadline. Brushing up on pharmacology too ?

I’ve heard people got in with 16 ans 17 points last go round

Does anyone know how many TDaP vaccines do we need? Is it just the one every 10 years or 2 doses, if so how far do they have to be from each other?

So did anyone notice? The HESI scores changed. I could have sworn that it gave 3 points for 89 and above and now it says 2 points. Or am I wrong about this?

2. HESI A2 Score: Composite score of reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, Anatomy & Physiology and Math. If your score is:

<75 = ineligible to apply

75 = no points, meets eligibility to apply

76-88 = 1 point

89 to 100 = 2 points

NOTE: The HESI A2 test can be taken at any Dallas Community College District Campus that offers the HESI A2 exam.

3. Applicants with the highest total points will be selected to interview and asked to complete a professional writing sample.

Total points are calculated and then ranked numerically using the following formula:

Points for Prerequisite and Support Course Grades + HESI A2 points = Total Points

i saw that too !! ughhh

Hello I am reapplying for Spring 2020. I noticed we needed the titers for Hep B, Varicella and MMR. So even if we had the vaccines as children we are required to still get the ? How would i go about getting the titers. I am a bit confused. Thank you!

Go to your PCP or clinic that can do the titers for you. If your levels are low, a booster or new series will have to be given to you depending on which one is low.

Ok great thank you! I made an appointment with my PCP for this week. Hope all goes well.

Hello! Do ya know if we need proof of medical insurance turned in with application or only if we are accepted? I am having to pay for everything out of pocket and gets expensive.

I ap applied last application and yes you do need proof of medical insurance. They will ask you for a copy of the insurance card when you turn in your application.
