Mountain View Fall 2018 Hopefuls

Published

Hello Everyone!! I am excited about applying for Fall 2018 admission at Mountain View program! I am worrying about my points that I will apply with? Does anyone know the lowest amount of points they accept. I look forward to talking to everyone!

Hello I see this post is starting to get traffic. I am going to be applying to Mountain View I only have 13 points so not sure how competitive that is. I also applied to Brookhaven with 37 points and turned in my application to TCC. I was picked as an alternate for TCC last application cycle but never was called off the alternate list.

Yeah I'm not sure what's a competitive score at MV. Great! I turned in all my applications today! So now I just wait!

Are those scores for your hesi exam per subject? UTA's accelerated program is really hard. Everything is literally online, except for the clinicals, and you are teaching yourself. Lots and lots of online assignments too. It's very time consuming. But I think if you want it enough, you'll be able to do it.

I've heard people getting in with 20 points before, that was the lowest I've heard. But then also that was some years ago. It might have changed. But honestly, being competitive or not just depends on how many applicants that certain semester.

Does anyone know if we need our titers done for the immunization for MVC? I've gotten my MMR and Varicella back when I was a baby, but I'm not sure if MVC require titers.

So when i turned my application today, I was told the HESI score points is your cumulative score not each individual section.. So if you got an 89-100 cumulative score than you get the 2 points. I got all of my immunizations as a child too. The only one i had to get again was my tDAP because it expires every 10 years. As long as you have the immunizations signed off from your childhood paper you should be fine. I turned mine in and she didn't seem to think it was an issue with my childhood immunization form because it has the original signatures.

I don't know if required for MV but they are required for Brookhaven so if you are applying there you will need titers if you haven't gotten them.

My HESI was 88.8 :-( .2 points cost me a whole 2 points.

I think you will be fine with the points you have! Don't stress about it.

Hey everyone! I think we will all be fine, I am going in with 18 points, fingers crossed we all get in!!

It's going to be a long month to wait!!

Well I don't have much hope for my application then :( I had originally applied to El centro because I took basically all requirements and extra classes.... I had 37 points on my application. With MVC, I only have 11 + 2 points for the HESI cumulative. 13 seems like a very low number compared to everyone else. I heard that UTA has a high student transfer rate. I hope I get into any program. I don't want to be stuck for another semester.
