Hello everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for Spring 2021 applicants at Mountain View College. I wasn’t able to find one only for fall 2020. I have followed old threads and I believe it has been very helpful with questions and guidance for some. Feel free to post and ask questions. Applications are due on the 28th, good luck to EVERYONE!?

Welcome yes I am very thankful for whoever started this group.  I looked on facebook to see if there is a group but there wasn't.  So I found this group instead.

Hey Margaret, yes so apparently there’s around 20 or so points one can accumulate to be ranked. They’re divided up in between prerequisite GPA, HESI scores, and additional support courses. The more points the higher the ranking.

Thank you Karla I will go to website and calculate mine quickly.  I did not realize it worked that way.  Now I am even more nervous.  Did you do the pharmacology and pathiophysiology classes?

Yea both ECC and MVC are on points. I tried pharm but I literally just dropped it. I was struggling with it online. I need an in person class so I can ask questions LOL.

I took Intro to Pharmacology last semester online just to see what it is about and was not too bad.  I do like in person classes though I cant stand the online.  Well I am super nervous now for the point system as I did not really know they work on the point system.  But just have to wait and see. Hopefully I can get an interview.  Keeping fingers crossed for us all.

I wanted to apply to ECC but just heard so much things from that school that it made me change my mind.  I applied to TCC, MVC, Collin College and Grayson College instead

Good for you.  I wanted to but figure I would wait until the end of the week.  Well they could have at least send out an email explaining that.  Thanks for sharing it though.  That sucks though because that sounds like we are going to wait longer.  I want this to be over with.
