Mountain View College Nursing Fall '17

Hello everyone!

Just trying to see if there's anyone out there applying to Mountain View College (Dallas, TX) nursing program and if so have you gotten an email back for an interview?! I did, and I'm a little nervous! I hope I get in. I've been trying for years now to get on the nursing track and I finally feel like I may finally have a real shot! Good luck to all you nursing majors out there!

I wonder if they will at least let you know if you didn't get in. That would be the professional Way to do it! ;)

Per the interview, she (Self-Drake) said we would be notified regardless of acceptance or rejection. After speaking with current students some of them said they were notified both early and late too. So who knows. If nothing by end of week, I will await the next. There's one other program I can start by Fall. But it was LVN, so I was wishing for MVC but anything is better than nothing. Plenty of bridge program options if I have to take the Lvn. Positive vibes only! Lol

I like the way you think! I wish I had started at LVN.

LVN was my original plan also! I just thought It'd be easier to start from the beginning and work my way up. Like you said, plenty of bridge options! Either way, only God knows what He has planned for each of us! Don't give up!

I received a call from the Dean. She had my email address wrong. Instead of .net they had .com You may want to give them a call DiDi.

Now I'm waiting for the email. :/

I called and she said she was in the middle of something but would call right back as soon as she could. I'm sure she's quite busy because even during the semester anytime I emailed her for something regarding our class content for patho, she responded so quick every time. When I emailed yesterday or the day before, I never received a response. I just don't want to seem annoying to them lol. But at the same time I just would like an answer because if I'm accepted into the Lvn I of course would rather choose MVC since it's an ADN program.

They told me don't make any plans for August!

Eavalos I agree with you. This was just what I was told as I was leaving the interview. Tarrant County is having their Orientation August 9th. I guess every school is different. It would not hurt to shoot them an email. Make sure you let them know how excited you are!! :)))

I believe last years orientation was around the 11th of August. Not sure if they started the 11th or ended the 11th. It's a three day thing. Then school started the 31.
