Hey guys! I was just wondering if anyone here is applying for the ADN program at MSMC for Spring 2010...
ANd if anyone has gone to any information sessions..
Let me know! I'm looking into MSMC and I really wanna get in!
the majority of them did transfer. three of them i'm unsure because im still in the process of completing them at OCC (speech, developmental psychology, and statstics). I'm missing Anatomy and Microbiology with Lab so I can only attend Pre-Nursing for now. I'm tired of not being able to get into pre-nursing courses at community colleges because they are always full. I have turned in a deposit and my appointment is tomorrow with Trisha. I'll let you know if she is helpful, that way you can know if you should meet with her or find someone else.
Just a question. When applying for the prenursing option did you use the nursing department application or the general college application.
Hi, I was wondering how long the ADN program takes? Let's say I'll be done with prereqs (except for religious studies)? And what if I have 4 prereqs left (including religious studies?
I believe the program takes 2 semesters and a summer? so like 1 and 1/2 years? But I read somewhere it's atleast 2 1/2 so now I'm confused.
I need speech, philosophy, developmental psych, and religious studies. How long is the normal program? Like if I take these 4 classes in the fall and begin in spring, when will I finish the program? thanks so much.
I'm asking cuz I go to CSU and we have different prereqs (kinda)..I'm done with the prereqs..I just have GE's left..and basically the prereqs are the same except MSMC wants specific ones..like I took interpersonal communications but MSMC wants public speaking and other stuff so I dont know if I wanna take the prereqs again..because if I do and I get into a CSU, then it'll just b a waste and I'll have my leftover GE's to do while in the nursing program..
Usually ADN programs take about 2 years. However, I know MSMC offers an option where you can take pre-reqs at their school and then enter the RN program. I think they call this the "pre-nursing" option. Although (like tothepointeLVN said) you really need to know which pre-reqs you still need to estimate the time you need to put in until you are done. See a counselor, they can be very helpful in putting together a academic plan. Good Luck to you!

Hello Al. Hope you holiday was great and your new year is even better. So I've decided to get to MSMC info session on the 6th. I'm sure this question is dumb but, they only accept in the Fall and Spring is that right? Is anyone else planning to apply for the Fall 2010?
