Mount Sinai PSON ABSN Fall 2021

Starting the thread since I could only find Summer 2021z Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for their ABSN program starting Fall 2021? Where else did you apply? Share stats if comfortable, you know the drill! Thanks!

I applied for the fall! I have not gotten a decision - I submitted my application a few weeks ago through NursingCAS but didn't get any sort of comfirmation or application acknowledgment from the school itself. Is that normal or should I follow up with admissions?

Hm I submitted mine last week as well, no acknowledgment or anything either. Wondering the same thing since every other school I applied to sent that classic “we’ve received your application” email. 
From what I’ve seen in past year’s post, we should hear back end of February/ beginning of March about admission if we submitted January.

Does anyone know when you hear back from admissions from the time you submit the application?

@jordan6564 I think it’s rolling admission! from past year’s post it looked like people were hearing back 6-8 weeks after they applied, but I don’t know for sure

They contacted me regarding an issue with my high school transcript saying they did an initial review of my application, so I think it is rolling

hey! I submitted my app the other week and am looking forward to hearing back! How long did it take nursing CAS to verify your app...they said it could take two weeks but im hoping it goes through sooner.

Mine took about 2 weeks. I submitted 1/12, was verified on 1/29

Does anyone know if we have to complete the BLS certification prior to submitting the application or can we have it done before the program starts?

Can you have a prerequsite in progress to be considered for admission?

To answer both of your questions,

You can complete the BLS before the program starts, and yes, you can have a prereq in progress until July 2021.
