I applied online, through the career section of the website. No, I am a new grad and don't have any clinical experience. However, I would definitely recommend that if you know anyone that works in a hospital that you reach out to them. It's difficult to get a job in NYC hospitals if you don't know someone.
I had a phone interview with one of the recruiters few months ago. Wasn't a fun experience at all. I thought the recruiter was rude. I got more nervous and she became more and more rude with me. I forgot her name. They ask you general questions like your experience, which Mount Sinai campus and unit you prefer to work in, etc. etc.
Wondering if you can help out with your phone screen interview experience. What was the experience like? What kind of questions were you asked. Am also a new grad nurse and will be having a phone interview with Mount Sinai this coming week. Thanks in advance!

[COLOR=#000000]Hello everyone, I am a new grad RN and have a phone screen with a nursing recruiter at Mount Sinai. I was wondering if anyone has any info, tips, or advice on the questions they ask during the phone screen and/or general interview. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Just want to make sure I am as prepared as possible!
Thanks!
