Mount Sinai NYC NICU Fellowship (new grad)

Published

Hi! Im a recent new grad and I have an interview with MSH in the NICU for a fellowship. Has anyone heard back? What was the interview like? What questions did they ask? any advice? also does anyone have any info on which NICU is better the main hospital or Mount Sinai West. thanks

Heyy! I'm also a new grad who applied to that fellowship but I am waiting to hear back if I'll even get an interview. Can I ask you how long after sending your resume did it take to hear back and when did they finally contact you to set up the interview?
I'm kind of panicking but it's like I'd rather know I won't be hearing back so I can move on if that's the case :(

Can I ask you guys who you emailed to apply. I had emailed the person listed on the website but never got a response about how to apply and I even sent a follow up.

That's the same person I emailed but it took her 2 weeks to get back to me asking for my resume back in August. I just emailed her last week for an update with my application and she responded saying my resume was up for review and she'd follow up if the manager decides they wanna proceed ? so stressful just waiting around though

Heyyyy!! I have also had the same thing happen to me. It took awhile to get an email back from the recruiter. Has anyone heard anything about if they have finished the interview/selection process since the program starts October 2nd?

I had my interview at the beginning of the month but haven't heard back yet either. I'm also wondering if anyone has heard back from them about them making a decision??

Hi! I'm a new grad and have accepted an offer for this fellowship! Have you heard back?

Hey AKR0621,

How quick did you hear back from the recruiter after you emailed her to get scheduled for an interview? And from there, how long did they take to send you an offer?

Hey! I called the recruiter myself first and asked for any positions available, so I got my interview scheduled that week. It took them exactly 3 weeks after my interview to offer the job. Orientation starts October 30th !

Oh OK, is the recruiter typically quick to respond because I've tried calling her but it just goes to voicemail and I haven't heard back from her via email either after following up?

Hey AKR0621!

Would you happen to know if all the slots are filled? Because I'm lowkey thinking if I should call her Monday just to try LOL I accepted an offer for a different unit but NICU has been my dream specialty so I don't feel like I can give up til I know there's no shot LOL

Hi!! I honestly have no idea on even how many spots they had to offer to begin with, or how many are filled. I thought the interview would go nowhere since she took three weeks to reply LOL. But I would definitely call the nurse manager, nurse educator, or your recruiter!!
