Has anyone applied to and/or gotten an admission decision from Mount Sinai PSON for the ABSN program starting Summer 2020?

I was accepted for August 2019 start but deferred for May 2020!

Oh okay! Perfect. So no one has heard back yet? I am currently awaiting the new set of information for the May semester

I haven't heard of anyone getting accepted or declined for May. It seems like their process is very delayed compared to last year when some people were getting acceptance emails in November.

I’m not sure either. When I was accepted for August 2019 I was notified in March, and had about 6 months of time prior to program start so it does seem a bit delayed. I spoke with --------------------- today and she said information regarding the program will come out after February 1st so I am imagining decisions will be going out on or before that date.

I also differed from August 2019 to May 2020. I have tried to reach ---------------------- a few times about the start date but have not heard anything. Hopefully will hear something soon!

Hi everyone, I also applied to the May 2020 start...just got a rejection letter from Stony Brook which is such a competitive school to get into but it was a long shot. I still have Mercy College and Mount Sinai...keeping my fingers cross to get some good news.

I got my denial today from Stony Brook too! Hopefully you will have more luck with Mount Sinai ??

Hi Andray7211. What is the tuition For mercy college?

Hi @Nurseinthemaking2020 I think it about $19,000 for the year without room and board. If I get in I will be commuting back and forth from LI. I like the idea of taking the training into Mount Sinai which would be nice because I can study on the train and less hassle with traffic on the Cross Bronx everyday. But I will take what I can get. I've been out of school for about 17 years, married with two boys at home and working a full time job. This experience has truly been a humbling experience.

Hey I’m also in Long Island. I’m hoping for the same. 19k is about half of Mount Sinai’s cost. I’ll look into Mercy.
