Hi Celine! CONGRATS! I am super excited to actually "meet" someone else who is thinking about attending. I was just accepted as well and plan on attending. I am from New York, but I will be commuting from Staten Island. I was accepted to Wagner College (It is on Staten Island so more convenient) and NYU. I am choosing Mount Sinai. First, Mount Sinai provides you a clear list of tuition and fees here (https://www.mountsinai.org/files/MSHealth/Assets/PSON/Tuition-ABSN-Fall.pdf). I found it harder to calculate the exact cost of NYU and Wagner, but, IF I remember correctly, both were at least 75K without additional fees. Considering NYU's prestige, this left me deciding between NYU and Mount Sinai. While NYU has a lot of prestige, the Mount Sinai hospital system has a great reputation and that is where, as students, we will get to do our clinical rotations and network for jobs after graduation. This is just my thought process, but others may be thinking of this differently. I feel like the difference between the hospitals was not enough to pay the extra cost of tuition for NYU. Would love to chat more here or offline!

Hey girl!
Thank you! CONGRATS to you toooo!! I'm very excited to start. - I also think the connections we're going to make during clinical rotations will definitely help during the hiring process. And you're welcome to DM me or add me on facebook (Celine Lopes). I'm in the Mount Sinai ABSN 2020 group! (https://www.facebook.com/groups/2315437378750538)

As far as I know, NYU is closer to 90-100k?

Hi! CONGRATS on your Fall admission! I was also looking at only either PSON or NYU and you're right about the cost differences. Although I am still waiting to hear back from NYU, I am most likely going to PSON. I'd love to chat here too or offline. Looking forward to seeing each other this school year!

Hi! I got into both NYU and pson and I’m also pondering on my decision of which one to attend.

they do
what made you decide to go to mount sinai? I've read some really horrific things about the school and I'm debating between mount sinai and pace

Hi everyone,
I just got an acceptance email from PSON!! This school is one of my top choices due to location and association with hospitals.
I was wondering if anyone else reading this got accepted too! I used to live in NYC back in high school, but now I'm in Ohio for college until my lease ends. Is everyone from New York? What are your thoughts about tuition prices and the new hospital on 126th?
Thank you!
