Hello! I'm applying to Mount Saint Mary's Fall 2018 cohort and was wondering if anyone else is applying or has applied and has any tips??

what ? have you tried calling them ?

I called admissions yesterday and all they can give me was the general answer: "We are on a rolling enrollment and have started sending out decision letters last week, and will continue sending them this week". They mention nothing about the online application portal being updated or sending emails

oh i see, yeah on the email we go on friday i believe it said that the portal was going to be update by Wednesday but then again, they did say they were running behind.

dont loose hope ! if they told you that is because they are still not done with the decisions .

So I just called the help desk just to see if I had a profile and to see if I was in the system for the web portal access. The representative said that from what he sees, I am in the system with a student I.D. Number but it doesn't show him an admission decision. He also stated that that typically means I'm accepted but he couldn't guarantee. Do you guys know if this is true?

honestly idk, it might be because they are still running behind on their decisions.

just keep checking the portal and also your email.

Also, how do we pay the deposit? I accepted my offer already but didn't give me the option to pay it.

I GOt an email back saying they will send a revised letter cause they made a mistake

Anybody else receive their decision letters? Still nothing for me, but they said they're not finished sending them all out

I haven't either. I even signed up for informed delivery for the post office so I know if I'll be getting something in the mail that day, and I'm not getting anything in the mail today.

Ooh okay, that's a great idea I may do that as well. The rep did reassure me that this delay DOES NOT mean we have been rejected, it's just that they send notifications in waves so some people get it sooner than others. So I guess that helps to know

I wish there was a preliminary way of just telling everyone whether they were accepted or not. I'd rather know instead of just being in suspense 24/7 :-(
