Hi Everyone! I just want to start a thread for people who applied for MSMU's ABSN Program fall admission this year! We can keep each other updated here. ?

I received my acceptance today as well! Congratulations to everyone! There is a plan and path for each one of us regardless of the decision! :)

Just wondering when the deadline is for responding? The link did not work for me either!

Go to the bottom of the letter and there is an accept button. Click that instead.

Orientation is Tuesday and Wednesday, August 21st & 22nd. Classes begin Monday, August 27th. Math remediation needs to be completed before orientation and you will be able to schedule your own tutoring hours. The department will send you other important dates very soon.

Did anyone else not see their portal updated? Mine still says under review like before....

Happy 4th everyone!!

This is my first time commenting. I've been following the thread of messages. Like @becksg13, my application portal also says "congratulation! Your application is under review." Where did you guys see your acceptance links/buttons/letters exactly on the page?

I'm really anxious & in the back of my mind I can't help to think that this is a sign of rejection

Unfortunately, the congratulations your application is under review means it hasn't been updated. The update would include a link with the decision (letter). Not sure why you haven't been updated. Not sure if this is because only those that have been accepted have been updated or if they just haven't gotten to everyone yet.

Sorry, I wish I could be more helpful. It's so stressful waiting for an answer.

I wonder if those links are in fact decision letters for both rejected & accepted student or only for accepted students to follow through with orientation & registration.

Either way, I'll keep checking for the next 48 hours or until I receive a letter in the mail.

Hi guys, I havent posted before but my application on the portal still says under review but this year I submitted reactivation forms for my application since i submitted the online one for fall 2017 and for family issues I was not able to continue the process. When I spoke with someone in admissions they said that the online one is considered my old application even though it had updated with my transcript information that I sent this year. I'm not too sure if that could be a reason for others.

Hey @Cg2961,

Be sure to call nursing admission for clarification or e-mail Agasia! I deferred my application from Summer 2018 to Fall 2018, and I, too, had to send a reactivation form and an updated personal statement.

The application I had for S18 still stated "under review" on my portal;however, for F18 it was already evaluated. That is how I found out I was on the waitlist.
