Hello,
I was wondering if anyone has any information on Mount Marty CRNA program. I am thinking about applying to Mount Marty in South Dakota. Any information would be greatly appreciated such as how was the school life balance, rigor of the education, did it fully prepare you to work as a CRNA (especially in a rural setting?), the number of cases, clinical experience, and anything else thats informative. What was your stats like when applying and acceptance? Thanks for taking the time to read and maybe respond.

Thanks for the update! It’s going to be a long week LOL. Do they send rejection letters after email invites are out, does anyone know?

Im new to this site, however received an interview last week from Mount Marty CRNA program. Any helpful tips for the interview CowboyMedic, BSN RN?
@CowboyMedic @S.kill2018 Hey current SRNA's at MMU. I've got an upcoming interview for the program. I've been accepted elsewhere, but I'm currently weighing the pros and cons of each program. I didn't see a dedicated course for regional anesthesia on the curriculum. Does MMU teach PNB's/regional, and do you feel that what they provide is enough?
Thanks!

The interview is a very laid back, get to know you type of interview. I personally didn't have any clinicals questions that I remember but there might have been a few. It is a behavioral type interview. There are threads on here about behavioral interviews and also elsewhere on the internet. One question that I really remember is; Why do you want to attend Mount Marty? They want to see if you are teachable and to push you to your breaking point since this is a very high-stress field. I hope that helps some.

The new principles instructor is really big into regional anesthesia and is working toward building courses into the current curriculum which will affect the next class more than our class. We got a little bit of regional this semester and will get more over the next two semesters before clinicals start. The new instructor is very big on independent practice and wants everyone to be able to function at that level by the time they leave the program. The program also got new ultrasound machines to practice regional anesthesia.

Thanks! I appreciate it! That is super helpful.
Hello there! Just accepted an interview for the MMU program!! Super excited to get a chance to go here! In the email I received for the interview they said that they would ask us which clinical sites we preferred. Do they do this before the interview on the interview date or a few days before hand? Also, does anyone have any insight as to how the interviews are going to be structured this year since they are via zoom? Any info will help as I am super nervous already haha
