Motlow State 2018 Nursing Program

Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2018 Nursing Program at Motlow State Community College. I was suppose to go last year but ended up not taking the HESI exam on time so I was not able to get in for the Fall 2017. How does everybody stack up in the point system? Currently, I have all 75 points for the classes taken and a gpa 3.5 but have not taken HESI exam to get total points. I take it Jan. 22

Well I might call too just to ease my anxiety

I called the nursing department and did not get a response today :(

I didn't get my letter last year until April 21st.

I would assume bridge applicants would know soon.

I just spoke with someone at Motlow and she stated that the letters should be going out around the 19th of April. I wish everyone luck in getting accepted. The waiting is the worse!

Hi, I am also trying to get into the Lpn to rn starting in May. How did everyone do on the nursing fundamentals HESI? I got a 922 and was curious of what most people made. I should have all 75 quality points but when I look at my transcripts it only has me down for 32 quality points? I have a 4.0 gpa. I have applied the past 2 years and just missed it last year. I am really hoping to get in this year. Good luck!!!

Chaye: I believe if you have recieved an Aor B for any of those 3 classes you are rewarded 25 points a piece and is not want you consider from the transcript. Is the letter coming out on 19th for both bridge and traditional? And on the fundamentals I made a 1168.

I talked to Nancy this morning, she said they're hoping to start sending out denials this week for the applicants that didn't meet the qualifications and acceptance letters next week hopefully. She said there are 413 total applicants for the 2 year program including ones who didn't qualify.

The anticipation is killing me!

Do y'all know if it is 60 ppl overall that are chosen or 60 students apiece at each campus?

I think it's overall, that's just what I gathered from reading past years posts.

Last year they took 65. It's overall.

Hi, applied to 2018 Motlow Nursing Program. Made an 88 on my HESI, 3.5 GPA with 601 points. Nervous as heck.
