Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2018 Nursing Program at Motlow State Community College. I was suppose to go last year but ended up not taking the HESI exam on time so I was not able to get in for the Fall 2017. How does everybody stack up in the point system? Currently, I have all 75 points for the classes taken and a gpa 3.5 but have not taken HESI exam to get total points. I take it Jan. 22

Received my acceptance for the 2 year program!!!

Do you guys think they send us more information like an acceptance packet before orientation?

So I got denied in the nursing program but I am ranked in the next 20 students "waitlist" to be considered for a placement. Does anybody know what that process is like? I got 84 on my HESI and 3.4 gpa. I just want to know what my chances are in getting in now. I don't have a PLAN B so this was a devastating news to me :(

Yes, don't give up! I was wait-listed last year. The same thing was said to me, "ranked in the next 20 students." I basically held my breath till Aug 1.

Milesmello: I did not get in last year... i retook classes to increase my gpa and i got accepted this year. It was horrible not getting, I was counting on it, so was my family ! Do NOT give up !
