Happy New Year everyone! I wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2018 Nursing Program at Motlow State Community College. I was suppose to go last year but ended up not taking the HESI exam on time so I was not able to get in for the Fall 2017. How does everybody stack up in the point system? Currently, I have all 75 points for the classes taken and a gpa 3.5 but have not taken HESI exam to get total points. I take it Jan. 22

I am applying for the LPN-RN bridge program at Motlow. Hopefully I will get in. I have to retake Fundamentals of Nursing HESIi Entrance exam on 5th March. Also, I have to finish Probability and Statistics and Introduction to Psychology. They changed up a few things. Good luck on your HESI.
kshew 6 Posts Has 1 years experience. Jan 9, 2018 Hey! I am hoping to get in for Fall 2018 as well! My GPA is only 3.4 but I also have the 75 bonus points. I just took my HESI this morning at MTSU and got an 87.2. I think I'm going to take it again in 2 weeks to try and do better before the one at Motlow in March. I hate waiting lol. As of now my total points are 591.6I applied last year but my HESI score wasn't high enough and I didn't have time to retake it. Really hoping this is the year! :)

kstewart13 1 Post Has 1 years experience. Feb 26, 2018 I am hoping this is my year, too! I applied last year, but my classes for quality points were still in progress. I'm hopeful that a point total of 608 will do it this year. Fingers crossed for everyone!
tania79 2 Posts Has 1 years experience. Mar 7, 2018 My daughter is scheduled to take the HESI exam this week. Unfortunately, she thought she had completed the application for the program, but that may not be the case. I just hate that she'll have to wait another year for the program because of this oversight, as I'm sure there's nothing that can be done at this point. Good luck to all of you!
Judiel23 24 Posts Mar 9, 2018 I just took my Hesi for the lpn to rn and my current point status is 611 with the quality points. Do you know if they accept the grade if ap was taken twice. My ap expired and I had to retake it last spring and I recieved a new grade of b at Columbia state but was accepted with my transfer grades
dravenlady 8 Posts Has 1 years experience. Mar 14, 2018 I have applied for the 2018 year as well. I'm not feeling too confident see some of everyone else's points though. I have a 3.6 GPA but only 560 points total. I really hope I get in. I got pushed back by a year already for missing the deadline last year by one day. I have been working on some classes to go towards my BSN though while I can. I am already a certified EMT as well. I wish everyone good luck this year though. Hopefully they don't hae as many problems as they had last year where they had to keep pushing back the date to let everyone know if they got accepted.
