Has anyone taken the mother baby certification? Is it worthwhile in practice?

I'm certified in maternal newborn nursing. For me it is totally worth it. Gives me validation that I sorta kinda know what I'm doing . The CEUs needed for maintenance also keeps me up on the latest EBP. I did not get a raise though.

How long did you prepare for the test for in terms of formal studying? Did you buy a book? The test is expensive but I'd like to be certified.
I started reading Maternal core curriculum by Matteson when I first started in OB. Two years later I took a 1 day review class and did lots of practice questions .
Thanks, I'll look into this book. I've been doing Mom-Baby nursing for almost 5 years, so hopefully I don't need another 2 years of prep work! lol
