Do your research on Northside Hospital. It is the considered "the baby factory"! The couplet ratio there average about 4-5; they use a huge support staff with PCTs and LPNS to help you adequately manage your patient load. Just a thought- I got a mailer last week so apparently they are hiring pretty aggressively. I've worked there previously before taking up travel.

How did you like working at Northside? I've been researching Northside Atlanta Mother Baby, but can't seem to find adequate information on whether or not it's a good place to work. I'm a New Grad in the Atlanta area. Can you give me any information about Northside Atlanta Mother Baby Unit. For example, the nursing culture, how the managers are (personable, approachable), average patient load, a usual day on the unit, staffing? I just applied for the residency starting in March. Any information regarding New Grad pay, shift/weekend differentials, benefits, etc would be greatly appreciated . Thank you for any input!

Good day everyone,
I will be relocating to Atl. this summer and I have 5yrs nursing exp. 4 yrs in mother baby, what is the pay range for Northside, Grady, Dekalb Med Ctr etc.? Do they practice couplet care? If so how many couplets? Basically, I am looking for input from current nurses working at any of these facilities in this speciality.
Thanks
