10 mos. LPN to RN prgm. Avail in McDonough, GA

Nursing Students LPN-RN

Published

I came across a school called AMTinstitute online. Which says they have a 10 month program for the bridge program. 6 months of classes and 4 months of clinical. Does anyone know anything about them? Or of anyone who has graduated? I can't find anything on the Internet about them, other than their website. They say they are accredited through Florida and that whom boards you'd sit for. It sounds good, but not a lot of info. They said they have been in business for 10 years. I searched for their accreditation on the GA and FL and couldn't find them.

Do anyone know of a ga rn that has actually graduated from this program and actually working in ga??????

I did, FYI.

I know someone who's currently there now. She's got classmates that have obtained an LPN license after graduating from AMT & are now there again in the RN bridge program.

Did you bother to read any of the above?

The information above is from 2014. We are now in 2016. I was asking if anyone ELSE has gotten information about this program. Perhaps, someone ELSE on All Nurses that comes across this discussions. I hope I've made it more clear for you.

Doesn't seem like it.

My sister, along with two other people I know, went to MedLife in Kissimmee, FL. It wasn't the best experience for her but she did complete the program & pass her boards on the first attempt. She is now an RN in Atlanta.

Specializes in M/S, LTC, Corrections, PDN & drug rehab.

How is that possible when AMT Institute isn't approved by any BON.

Apparently, AMT Institute in GA is affiliated with MedLife Institute in FL, which is approved by the FL BON. They say that all of their paperwork says Medlife, but named the school AMT.
