I'm on the Deaconess site and I can't find anyplace that tells you if their program is accepted in all states. I happen to be in PA. How do I know if I'd be eligible to sit for the NCLEX in PA?

Also in the ASN with LPN component, Do you HAVE to continue on the get the ASN or can you stop after you're eligible for the LPN?

Last but not least (and the one I'm most afraid to ask) is what the cost is? I'd be interested in the ASN with the LPN component.

Hi Lorraine-

At Deaconess you can stop after the PN component. As far as being eligible to sit for the NCLEX in PA, you'd have to check with your BON. The cost for Deaconess is $435/credit. I'm doing it with student loans.

Wow...that's really high as far as tuition goes. Especially when I can do the community college route for a little over 5,000. If only the community college wasn't an hour away.:crying2: God only knows where the community college will send me for clinicals....*sigh*

I just don't know what to do....
