I'm wondering what majority schools tend to look at more when choosing candidates for the program. Does the overall gpa or science gpa have more importance?

From what I've learned, it seems like majority of colleges account for the curricular GPA (pre-reqs, really) as opposed to the cumulative GPA (all courses you've taken), but I have heard of a few that select for overall. Check with the school you're interested in and ask which of the two they take into account. :)

It definitely depends on the school but having a solid gpa in either area is definitely a good thing! My school uses 3 criteria, nln pax rn score, gpa in pre-reqs (all 16), and cumulative gpa. Every school is different.
