Is anyone familiar with the nursing program at Moorpark College? I am taking Micro. in the Spring and then going to apply in the Fall of 08.

Sorry cjoy! I reread your posts and now I understand. I had no idea Moorpark and VC could be so different in the admissions process. I see you were accepted for the first available start date! Good for you!

I applied to Ventura college in Sep/Oct, for Spring 2012 start. I have no idea whether I'll be accepted or not. Before I was very confident but now that I've been all over this forum I see it's very competitive. That being said, I'm glad to find myself among such a fine group of people. The higher a standard my peers hold me to, the better!

I applied to Ventura in September and got my acceptance letter Saturday to start January...pretty fast! I also had 83 points!

Now we have to wait to find out our schedule

@SHTFnursingplan wondering how many points you had to get in so quickly? I am applying to the program next year and only have a 3.0 gpa with an A in Anatomy and hoping to get A's in my micro and PSY. THanks
