Moorpark College ADN Spring 2024

Hello all,

Starting a thread for anyone who applied to Moorpark's Spring 2024 Cohort. Based past cohort threads I am guessing we will hear back from them next week Friday (October 13th) or early the following week. Good luck everyone!

Still haven't received a call yet. I called their office: Moorpark Health Sciences, and they said they haven't finished making acceptance calls yet...so.... (crossing fingers).

Sadly when I took my TEAS last year, we just had a baby so I understudied for the test, got a 65% :(((....therefore had to do their remediation plan....

I haven't heard anything either and they refuse to give me information when I call. It's a bit annoying, Im assuming I didn't get in.

I am sure all calls have been placed and they're saying what we want to hear.  I have not received a call as well.  I might have submitted my TEAS passed the deadline.  Just hang tight and keep your head up know it's hard but it's all in God's timing. ❤️❤️

Yah, same. Where else have you applied? Any private schools or just community colleges? 

Also side question, I'm not sure where to post my question.... I want to get CNA certified. Where did you do your training and where do you work? I'm trying to figure all this out.

I know it's a little late to ask but I have yet to receive any type of rejection or acceptance letter from them. Are you sure they send out rejection letters or do we have to assume we just didn't get it?

from what I remember them telling me, they call you if your selected (accepted), otherwise if your not selected (chosen from the random selection pool), they don't tell you anything, there's no letter or email or nothing (which is strange I know).

I got a denial letter in the beginning of the month.  My application was missing page 2. ??‍♀️ I goofed ??‍♀️

This is so confusing -  I need them to send me a rejection letter so I get some closure ?

I would call and ask for an explanation.  Did you get a confirmation that your application was received?

Yeah they told me I was put in the lottery for random selection but haven't heard anything after that. I plan to call Monday since they are probably not open this weekend.

Good morning. Is anybody still on this thread? I was accepted to Moorpark for the ADN program and I'm just looking for some information about the format of the background check. If anybody can shed some light on the matter, I would greatly appreciate their help. Thanks....
