Moorpark College ADN - Fall 2019

Hello all,

I have not found a thread for the application cycle for those applying to the Moorpark program beginning Fall 2019. I thought I would get this going, so we can share thoughts, scores, and all that good stuff. Has anyone else applied? What are your stats?

Quick question are you still an alternate candiate? I accepted the alternate candiate position too and I am wondering how many people are still in the waitlist. Thank you.

Yeah, I'm still on the alternate list. I haven't received a call yet. I completed everything for castlebranch except the fire card. Just crossing my fingers hoping they'll call. They won't tell you the wait list number either.... But I saw that 11-12 spots were still open for the nursing program.

Thank you for replying.

I just finish submitting the documents to Castlebranch. Really how did you find out about the open spots. Is that for spring 2020? I called the office and they informed me noone has drop and that by June 10 if there's any changes they start calling people from the alternate list. I would be very happy if I get accepted for spring 2020 but I would like to know because the anxiety is killing me of not knowing to plan accordingly.

Well I just check the schedule of classes for the nursing program and it tells you how many spots are available. As of now there are 9 spots left. I know exactly how you feel, the wait is killing me ?

Oh wowww?

Does that mean theres 9 people that can still be added to the program! That would be awesome for those people. Do you by any chance remember on the day of orientation how many names where on the sign in paper for alternate students.

I'm just assuming since the registration date was given a while ago. It doesn't mean that I'm right lol I'm only guessing... Sorry to get your hopes up. I saw the list and I'm guessing about 15 people were on the wait list? For the studentd on the alternate list, if we don't get in this semester are they giving us a call again? I wonder how that works.

Hey,

I am assuming the same. They wouldn't keep that many open. I believe so it did seem like a lot of names were on that list. They didn't really give alternate candidates many answers. But I am sure by August 13 we will get a notification since they are making us participate in almost everything.

Am going to call the office after June 10th to ask then what's the process of we dont get accepted for fall 2019. And I will keep you updated.

Hello everyone and congratulation! I was in the program for a while this year, but I had to drop it due to personal problems. I have all books and stuff for sale, and I am willing to sell it for a reasonable price. If you want you can leave your e-mail here, so I will text you! ?

Also, all of my books and stuff are barely used, brand new and with access codes.

They called me yesterday that I was accepted for Fall 2019. I am still in shock and now am trying to figure out what to do next. I hope they call you too very soon!! ??
