Hi-
Has anyone received an acceptance letter for the spring 2016 nursing program at Montgomery college?
I am glad to know that there will be enough of us that will be working and going to school. What kind of jobs do you guys have? Is it health-related? I'm working as a volunteer recruiter for a clinicial trial center, I'm debating if I should find another job that is more nursing related or close enough to it?
Working as a CNA is invaluable for the experience and the foot in the door you get. It's awesome to work 12 hour shifts and learn how to interact with patients and do the technical stuff. A clinical instructor told me I could teach the Fundamentals of nursing class because that's exactly what being a CNA is. In fact I think you can work as a CNA without taking the course after your first semester of nursing school. It is however less valuable for the amount you get paid. If you are enjoying your job I don't see why you should leave since we'll all get experience during clinicals!

Well we will have everyone refer to deadsweetie and ASJ94 from now on if they have any questions since they clearly paid the most attention during orientation lol.
I'm planning on working! Full time if I can. I work in a hospital as a CNA, so the schedule kind of works out. I'm so so so excited to be able to work and start school.
