Heys guys! Wanted to create a thread for those who are interested in applying in to MC nursing program for 2019. How are you guys doing in your prerequisites, GPA so far?? Hope to hear from you!!

Hey BlissfulBeauty. The science portion trips a lot of people up , but your TEAS scores are actually good . As far as your odds for getting in, if you got the Math 110 or higher completed already, if you meet the minimum G.P.A., and if you submitted a * completed application, you are GUARANTEED to get in, per the Nursing Information Session. Don't even sweat it. You will definitely get an acceptance letter come Mid September.

Yes, I believe they transferred over Math113.

I also applied for MC nursing, along with UMSON and Towson. My overall GPA is 3.72, Science GPA of 4.00 (which includes A&P 1, A&P 2, CHEM, MICRO). I have completed STATS as well and got an A on it too.

But my teas was only 74%! and since I took it on the last day, I was too late to take it again. Fingers crossed! do you know how long it takes to get the associates?

Hi Amberlo, Welcome. U made the minimum for TEAS so as long as you also have both Englishes and have a completed application , Montgomery will be definitely send you an acceptance letter. Associate is the 2 years there. There is no deviation because the Nursing courses have to be taken in sequence and only one is offered in summer but that won't help you graduate any sooner. Just FYI, Howard has an accelerated program that starts next summer. Which school is your first choice?

Hey Silvia. Welcome. From the previous chats from former spring sessions, we should start seeing letters around 9-17. Did you have all 4 priority courses completed? Also can you share your GPA and TEAS scores?

Hi Everyone! I've been reading but just joined today. I applied for Spring '19 too, and I'm so nervous. 3.2gpa, 4.0 sciences. And 90 on TEAS. But I didn't finish the priorities until this summer. Crossing my fingers

Hey Rebelsmom. Welcome. Welcome. Don't be nervous. You have great scores and most importantly you finished all your priorities ( even the summer is fine) It sounds like you are a shoe-in for Spring '19! One more week to wait and you should get an acceptance letter!! Def post the minute you get something please!
