Montgomery college nursing spring 19'

Published

Heys guys! Wanted to create a thread for those who are interested in applying in to MC nursing program for 2019. How are you guys doing in your prerequisites, GPA so far?? Hope to hear from you!!

I have not begun to study yet. I will start once I finish A&P2.

Hi everyone

anyone familiar with the Medic to RN ? I plan on applying for the May 2019 session

Hello, I am so glad I found this thread. Did anyone apply for spring 19?

I just submitted my application today. I did well enough on TEAS and g.p.a. is great but I'm in the 3 priority course pile so I'm eating my nails in anticipation. What did you apply with? ( TEAS, all pre req, and GPA)

Hey Ryan. I wanted to find out if you took the Chem131 and how was it

I have completed all of my priority courses, but my GPA is not the best due to the fact that I repeated A&P1. My TEAS score is not great either. I got an overall score of 72 and reading was also 72.

Hey Watermelonlove according to the nursing information session, you are pretty much guaranteed to get in since you have all 4 priority courses. You meet the minimum for TEAS and G.P.A., that's good enough. You are a shoe in! Hopefully I will get in also

Hi everyone!

I also applied to MCC for this upcoming Spring semester. Not sure if I will get in but it was very last minute.

I took my TEAS on July 31st (the last available day) and I did not think I would past since it was my first attempt. After my test in the office, they asked if I wanted to apply and when I found out the deadline was the next day, I thought I wouldn't get my application submitted in time, but it worked out. Now the waiting game begins!

Good luck to you both as well!!

Hi BlissfulBeauty. Congrats on applying! Can you share what your TEAS score and how many priority courses you applied with

Hi CrnaBound18, I hope we get in. What was your score on the TEAS?

Hi Watermelonlove. I got 85.1 on Reading, and 90.7 overall

Hi CrnaBound,

I didn't do that well on the TEAS; I received a 83% on reading, 91% math. but only 78% overall. My science score really messed me up. I studied a lot of A&P for the test but it had a lot of chemistry questions, which I am not the best in.

I believe I had all of the priority courses. Based on my transcript eval they transferred over Gen Bio, A&P 1 & 2, Human Growth & Development, Two english courses, Microbiology and a few other courses (32 creds total transferred).

I'm not sure how it will go but this is my first time applying so if it doesn't work out, I'll try again for fall.
