Here is our new thread ladies (Nikki, Andrea, Kristian, Marissa...and whoever else will be starting at MC this fall).

Andrea, did you look at the shoes yet?

I didn't make it to school for the ID...perhaps Mon I'll go. I took my Calculate w/ Confidence w/ me today hoping to get some reading and practice done while waiting... yeah, like that really happened.

Ok so my penlight DOES work lol...didn't know we were supposed to push down on the pocket clip! Now I like it :)

I haven't tried on a single pair of shoes yet Kristian! I'm hoping to do that next weekend. I'm still leaning towards the Propets you linked the other day at JCPenney, I think it was.

I didn't get my ID either. I had to bring my son with me to pick up another lab form from the nursing department and I didn't want to walk all the way across campus with him plus make him sit and wait while I got my ID, so I'll just go back another day.

Wow, we have 127 pgs and counting! I wonder if the admins will want us to start a new thread at some point. It's getting very long...the longest I've seen here.

Nikki, I'm right there w/ you. Still trying to finish 24. I guess that's better than not having any books to get started. The classmate I saw @ Labcorp still hasn't ordered his books.

Was it Carlos? I usually read before going to be but my oldest son has been sleeping in my bed while the husband is out of town and if I try to read down here the tv gets too tempting.

No it wasn't Carlos. He's the type to get things done ahead of time. I never knew the persons name and meant to ask yesterday, but then my name was called...will ask when I see him again.

It's errand day so I'll catch you guys later.

Andrea, not sure if you guys have left for OC yet...Have a terrific time and be safe!

Dominic will have his own fun with grandma, auntie and cousin, so try not to miss him too much.

I got my stethos today. Never got an updated shipping email but I'm not complaining, just surprised. I was able to hear my heart, didn't really try to do much else. Figured it would be easier to listen to someone else other than myself and I've got no one around (Liam is napping, Lucas is at camp, DH is out of town). The navy is very dark, looks more like black unless it is under the light. Everything else seems ok.

Cool, glad you got your shipment. Do you like your steth and is it light weight?

I picked up mine @ the post office this morning. Very happy with it so far and I really like the color I chose...i got it in ceil blue, it's close to periwinkle blue w/ a pearly hue. And the laser engraving is high quality. As for acoustics, it is very sensitive and it's easy to hear heart sounds- lung sound, not sure cuz I don't know what I'm suppose to listen for. I'm going to try taking BP later tonight.

Oh, I was thinking about going to school to get the ID after we meet on Tue.

It feels light weight but I don't have anything to compare it to. I never picked up the classic littmann.

I got my parking permit today. Andrea will be thrilled that it is purple ;-)

I have no idea when I will go get my ID. I should have gone today but I hadn't had the chance to shower and so my hair was back in a ponytail. I didn't want my ID with a pontail. I will have both kids the remainder of the summer now. No more camps. Are they open on Saturdays? I don't want to have to take them with me. It is too stressful keeping them tame and orderly.

The Classic II has some weight to it. Still comfortable though. Sounds like yours is much lighter.

That's funny, I was thinking the same thing about the purple permit. :)

Yeah, know what you mean about the hair thing and taking the kids. We still have time as we won't need it until we have lab. I'm fairly sure they don't have Sat. hrs.

I found out today that my mother in law is coming on the 25th. She will likely stay at her daughter's place in Bethesda but maybe I can borrow her for an hour or so. Or maybe DH will take off a day/afternoon to spend time with her and I can go then.
