hi everyone! i recently took the TEAS V for Fall '14 at Montefiore SON (formerly Hopfer). No results yet (It wasn't on a comp so there's a wait to get my grades). Anyone else hoping to get accepted?

I sat for the exam on Friday the 16th, and received results on Monday............... Level Advanced. I am happy to have discovered this thread and have others to "wait" with. I hope I make it in!

Hi I'm surprised you haven't received an acceptance email with a score of advanced. How many people sat on Friday for the exam?

I called yesterday to ask what the time frame of notice will be. They said they are preparing acceptance packets this week. We should hear back between this week and next.

There were 5 of us taking the exam. We were told by the representative that the exam was only one portion of the selection process. She did inform us that Exemplary was a sure bet for entrance (nothing was a guarantee). I scored in the 80's, and I hope that is sufficient. My degree gpa is 3.2, which may be low, but my nursing prerequisites are in the 3.7 range. I've been working on this career change for a few years and will be disappointed if I don't make it in. Monte is my first choice, but I have also applied for Cochran.

Hey don't worry, they assured us that any scores of advanced or exemplary has a definite spot.

The teas is what they mainly focus on,if there are a lot of the same scores(proficient) then they look at what section we did best in. Then they look at pre-reqs (if all were completed) then gpa

Hi everyone I'm a student at MSON and asked when the acceptance letters would be out and was told they would be out by Tuesday. As of about 12pm they had accepted 16 people already. They were working on it when I was there earlier.
