Montefiore SON Spring 2018

Has anyone started to apply for montefiore school of nursing for the spring 2018 semester? I sent the basic application and $40 money order last week and i mailed the recommendation letter, birth certificate and diplomas today. Im waiting for hunter to mail me my transcript so i can forward it to montefiore.

To make a long story short I pushed myself through a major I was not happy with in college and graduated with a 2.9 GPA. Today I am a much different student and ever since I started pursing nursing I have been earning A's. I have completed all of my pre-reqs except sociology.

Many schools do not accept GPAs under 3.0 so Montefiore is one of my only hopes. I was blessed enough to score a 93 overall on my KAT so I hope this shows them that I am serious about nursing and that I've come a long way since I got my 2.9 GPA years ago!

you are going to get in you will be fine your Kaplan score is a strong one so you will be in the class of 2018 spring

Montie doesn't even look at your overall gpa they calculate your gpa based on the classes they require like AP, micro, lifespan psych etc... So calculate that GPA and that's the one they will judge you by and with a 93 on the kaplan you should def be in!!! Good luck

Hi All,

Another hopeful wanabee Nurse here... I'm literally DYING to get that email right now... have been aiming to get into this program for a year and a half and I just don't want to wait another minute for this answer! I work fulltime daytime and this was one of two schools that I considered as being the right option for me...I really can't quit my job to do takes classes during the day. I think I will go CRAZY if I wait until Monday or longer!
