I am going to hand deliver the deposit when I go to pick up the admission package. The way the email reads it seems like they are going to have us go and pick it up rather than mail it to us. Would anyone be interested in having a facebook page for class of 2018? I can make one if enough people are interested

JESUS4LIFE I am sorry the website will not let me reply to your personal message because I am a new user. To study for the KAT exam I watched A&P videos on KahnAcademy.com and it is also very helpful for the math section. For the writing and reading sections I would suggest studying an SAT workbook and also using KahnAcademy.com they have great videos to teach you math, writing, and science. You can even download the app and watch the videos without wifi (I would watch them on the train to work everyday) Honestly this test was extremely difficult to study for, and I wish I could give you better advice but there is no information anywhere on how to study for the exam. The most important thing is now that you've taken the KAT you know exactly what to expect. It is hard to know what is exactly on the test so I would just make sure to know as much as you possibly can to avoid getting stuck on any questions. You have an amazing attitude and I appreciate all the positivity you have brought to this group. To make a long story short I pushed myself through a major I was not happy with in college and graduated with a 2.9 GPA. Today I am a much different student and ever since I started pursing nursing I have been earning A's. I have completed all of my pre-reqs except sociology. Many schools do not accept GPAs under 3.0 so Montefiore is one of my only hopes. I was blessed enough to score a 93 overall on my KAT so I hope this shows them that I am serious about nursing and that I've come a long way since I got my 2.9 GPA years ago!

Super anxious because I aced the KAT but I know I have an extremely weak GPA. Not sure if they will balance out or not. Will keep checking here for updates, good luck everyone!
