Hello all!

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

Hi guys!

I have been following this thread for a few months now. I have been preparing my application and materials and studying and working, etc. I am getting ready to send off my application and am now freaking out. So, I check the admissions website frequently. I saw on the site that, "Your completed application, nonrefundable application fee and all required documentation must be submitted in the same envelope by the following deadline:." But on the application itself, it says to send official transcripts directly to the school. I have all my transcripts ordered, but I had them sent to me, thinking that they wanted the transcripts all in the same envelope with the application itself. Also, because there's a school I applied to that had this practice of having the applicant including everything in one envelope, including letters of recommendation (sealed and with recommender signature across the envelope flap). Oh, God, I hope I did not do myself in here. This is my top choice school and I am so freaking out. ANY info on this would be helpful as I tried calling the school many times without success. Thanks, guys!

You can send them your unofficial transcripts together with the application and then just send them the official ones later on. They’ll accept the unofficial ones and will just send you a notice to send the official ones on a certain date. Probably before the deadline.

I have official transcripts....they were just sent to me. I think I was doing so much multi-tasking and was worried if I sent the transcripts directly to the school they'd get lost. Now I'm just freaking out...(((sigh))). Anyway, thanks for the speedy reply.

I would send everything together (that’s what I did), I feel like things could probably get lost once you start to split everything up. Send everything they asked for in one big envelope.

Send all your documents in as early as possible or drop off if you can. The deadline is friday. If you are missing anything they will inform you. Focus on studying lol and don't freak out.

I sent my application last week wednesday i put everything in one big yellow envelope.

Hi guys. Thanks for sharing and being supportive. I have just put in so much work over the years, I don't want silly things to get in the way. I FULLY plan to send this application overnight...just TOO close to not MAKE SURE it gets there.

I have a couple other questions...#1) Did you guys include a resume, as the work experience section is so short....I ask also because my background is in social services, so I needed to show the range of experience and how it fits with nursing. #2) The person who wrote my recommendation was not a supervisor, but a co-worker who has been an RN for 30yrs. I hope they accept that??? I don't know. I am just mulling over every detail here. (((sigh))). Thanks.

Is your letter of recommendation on the company's letter head and signed by your supervisor. I think it has to be from your supervisor. Not too sure. I will check

Trust me I understand, a few weeks ago I was exactly the same way! I didn’t send a resume , but hey it wouldn’t hurt to. Send in everything you can. When it comes to the reference, I’m not too sure about. I don’t see why they wouldn’t expect it, especially when it’s coming from someone with that many years of experience. I’m sure if it doesn’t meet their requirements, which I don’t see why it wouldn’t, I’m sure they’ll let you know! However, what you can do is, call once again before you send your envelope off, so you can ask.

So the letter has to be from your supervisor, clergy member or college instructor. It's on their website under instructions. Hope this helps. I suggest you send what you have though because the deadline is soon.
