Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2020

I know it's early to make this thread but I wanted to see who else is planning to apply to this program.

The first open house is in February. Anybody else going?

Are you planning to apply for their day program in Fall (2019) or evening in Spring (2020)?

I’m applying for the spring 2020! I’m finishing up A&P 2 this semester. But kind of worried about my gpa I’m at a 3.1 right now which I know is okay but I know this program is so competitive. Planning on going to the open house in May.

Your GPA should be fine! I believe if you have higher than a 2.7 or 2.75+ GPA from your pre reqs, then you should be good to go. Good luck with A&P2. It was definitely an interesting class to say the least lol

So I recalculated my GPA, it seems like they take only your pre-reqs and not your overall GPA? In which case I'm at a 3.4 but I'm debating retaking sociology in the summer and getting an A to boost it up to a 3.6.

A&P is kicking my butt it looks like I'll end up passing with a B+ which is fine.

Yep, they only calculate your pre-reqs GPA! So, you should be good.
