Greetings, I just finish applying to Montefiore School Nursing for the Spring 2019. Is there any one else also looking to attend in 2019? I'd love to hear from you.

Hey just so you know you guys would be the class of 2020 not 2021 lol you start in January of 2019 and graduate December of 2020!!

Hey I'm a current student finishing N2 going into N3...congratulations to all of you who were accepted and to those who didn't they do pick people off of the waiting list because not every one accepts the offer, so keep hope alive. Since I know you guys will ask lol i had an 85 on the Kaplan and was missing 4 prereqs which I now have all completed. As far as the booklist it will all be in your acceptance package that they will have you pick up hopefully soon it's about 10-15 books totalling a little under $1000 i got all of mines on Amazon they have the best prices. Uniform is around $100. It's also a few other things you have to pay for such as stethoscope, white sneakers and the drug screening. So save your coins or do what I did and put it on your Christmas list lol lastly get ready to read they assign the unit 1 readings for before the first day of school! Any other questions just ask and welcome to MSON!!!

thank you for responding. you gave us a lot of information. I do have one question what are the text books for N1? and can I finish my pre reqs at a different college instead of Westchester CC ?

It's a long list and it could be different than ours so that's why i didn't post exact titles you guys will see it in your package and the Westchester rule just started about a month ago so for my cohort they had to make exceptions because people already registered at different schools so I am not sure if they will be strict with that rule for ur cohort since you are an incoming class. But you can always talk to the dean to attempt to get approval if you have a valid reason for wanting to take a class elsewhere.

Any one any color most of us did get Lithman though. Wait for the package though before you purchase because they do give discount codes sometimes or offer group pricing.

Congrats!! I also got accepted at Cochran. Received the email yesterday afternoon. I'm looking for a thread for Cochran acceptance for spring 2019. I can't find any.

Congrats on your acceptance to Cochran!! I actually just made a thread for Spring 2019 looking for some insight but i'm so happy i found this thread and people who applied there too. What score did you get on Kaplan if you don't mind me asking? I'm waiting on an acceptance or denial letter still.....

I also made a thread. No one replied lol. I scored 84 overall and had one outstanding pre-req, nutrition, which I'm enrolled in now.

No I called yesterday and the lady said she doesn't know what's going on or how they're handling things. Soooo with that being said I'm just going to take it as I didn't get accepted which I don't understand because I see a few people with a lower score get accepted plus I'm an LPN already not sure if it's because I live in CT and have a CT license???? But I already started looking into other options. Technically I started Excelsior online I only applied to get the full in person experience of school if that makes any sense.

I've been following and finally decided to post since I didn't get in . I called Monday and they sent out all acceptance emails on Friday. No more acceptance emails will be sent out . A rejection letter will be emailed . Out of 200 students that took the entrance exam, they only accepted 44 students. I also live in CT and don't think that's the case because my sister is in their spring program . Not sure how the grading system is but I don't think it's fair how they decide if it's truly based on Kaplan scores . Btw there's no waiting list.
