Montefiore School of Nursing spring 2019

Greetings, I just finish applying to Montefiore School Nursing for the Spring 2019. Is there any one else also looking to attend in 2019? I'd love to hear from you.

Congrats! I got in Cochran as well. I can't find a Cochran thread or anyone else who got in.

Hi all!

I've been following this thread for weeks, anxiously waiting to read all of your acceptance letters! A year from today I will be in your shoes, hoping to get into the Evening program for January 2020.

I was previously in an accelerated BSN program last year, but was sadly dismissed after failing one course in my second semester. I have all my pre-reqs completed for MSON, so the only thing I have left to take is the Kaplan Exam.

I have a few questions:

Did anyone attend any of the informational sessions? If so, was it informative or worth going? I only ask because they are hosting one tomorrow and I am contemplating if I should attend after work (will take about an hour to get there)

For the Kaplan exam, how many questions per each section? For the science portion, was it primarily A&P basic questions or more involved with physiology like A&P2?

I went to the information session. It was informative they talked about financial aid and class schedules.

I don't remember the amount of questions for each section , you can google it. I would suggest using Kaplan to study

Congrats! There's isn't a Cochran thread for Spring 2019. I looked as well. Which school are you going to choose?

Cochran. That's the only one I applied to because they accept pre-reqs up to 10 years compared to MSON. Are you from Brooklyn? I will be coming from Brooklyn. Hope you all get your answers from MSON soon. Praying for you all!

MSON is giving me high blood pressure...can you die of anxiety if so I'm on life support ....

I really hope we all get accepted. You guys seem like a good crowd to be around. Especially in stressful situations that I'm sure we will have plenty of.
