Montefiore School of Nursing Spring 2016 Applicants

Hello Guys! Figured I'd start a new thread on Montefiore SON for Spring 2016 since I haven't been able to find one. Anyone out there in the process of Applying to their nursing program? I called them yesterday and was told they will be sending out Exam invitations soon. Where are you in your process??

Took the Kaplan Exam on the Very Last Day Scheduled ... First time taking it 69% Overall.. 71% IN Math 60% Science , FORGOT READING/WRITING SCORE. ONLY STUDIED MATH, LOOKED OVER A&P II , HAVE NEVER TAKEN THAT CLASS YET. WISH I PREPARED FOR READING, IT WAS SO BASIC YET DIFFICULT LOL, IF THAT MAKES SENSE. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! ANYONE SCORE IN THE 90S? BESIDES THE ONE 80+ SCORE ON HERE?? MATH WAS SO BASIC , STUDIED DOSAGE AND CALCULATIONS... I WAS GOING WAYYYY TO IN DEPTH BECAUSE THE QUESTIONS WERE EXTREMELY EASY. SIGH

Is montefiore school any good how is the grading system what are the grades to pass each class nursing and general education classes and how is the curriculum is it all tests based or the average is made out of tests, quizzes, HW, and research papers

Has anyone heard from the school yet? I Know May applicants heard back from the school a week after the final exam.

I took the test and got a 95 but didn't hear anything back yet

I did horribly!! 61% overall. I had the most difficulty in...wait for it...WRITING! I couldn't believe it. Not sure what's next for me, I am sure they are not going to contact me. Many from my class were disappointed and said they were not expecting to hear from the school.

I don't even know much about the school so I'm kind of weary about even deciding to go there I have also applied to couple other schools which I'm waiting to hear back from

I agree .. I think most of us overlooked this silly section, thinking " how can I possibly screw up writing"? smh, surprise!

The lady in admissions said that we will hear something after November 2nd, thats this week.
