Does anyone have any information on this hospital in the Bronx? What happens after interview with nurse manager? What is the starting salary and diff with experience or evening shift? I know some of their schedules are considered evening and not nights.

I work in the ED at the Moses Campus as of last year. I have an inside connection so my resume went straight the NM. Took about two months to hear from him. I interviewed with him, he sent me to HR after the interview. HR interviewed me as a formality and had me take the two pharm tests before the interview which I aced. I was offered the position that day. I had and currently still have an ADN.

Starting salary in a Critical position ICU/ER is 75k/yr. I believe med-surg is around 65k/yr. Night diff is 6k/yr. Experience diff is $1200/yr for every 1-2 years of experience you possess and it increases $1200/yr more every 2yrs you work at Monte. Plan to obtain a work letter from you previous employer HR stating you worked at least 1950 hours per year each year you worked or you will not be credited the experience diff.

Education diff for BSN around $1600/yr. Any certification you obtain CEN/CPAN/CCRN etc. is about a $2400/yr diff. Remember also monte provides full reimbursement for college or certification obtainments. Monte also has NYSNA which charges about $95/month in dues.

As an example for myself as an RN in the ED with an ADN and 1-2 yrs experience and working nights my salary is about 83k/yr working FT at 13 shifts per month.

Also, is it true they only pay $21/hr for RN? seems low for new york

I have no idea where you heard that. They start at $42/hr day shift. I was just hired. Process took 2 weeks from start to finish. I've heard of that online interview, I didn't have to do that but a friend of mine did.

I have one year hospital experience at time of hire. But several of my classmates got in as new grads with same salary.

I was hired last week , will start on oct 8. Just want to know if they will cover the premployment medical? Like some of the interviewed nurse mentioned on a previous forum., I was interviewed first by the NM before the HR. My HR recruiter told me to renew my acls and take pals ( which is imdoing it now) Im confused I emailed my HR receuiter asking about that if i can do the preemployment medical first before i take the acls and pals class. She emailed be back and telling only the schedule; no facility name and addres and no instruction and not mentioning if its cover by the compny or ill pay for it initially, only the schedule she mentioned. Im dont want to ask her again because it might irritate her asking lots of question. Hope you understand. And one more thing did you do hirevue video interview even you been interviewd first by the Nurse Mangers and HR?
