Montefiore & Cochran Fall 2016

Hello to all , Is there anyone out there who has applied to MSON & CSON for fall 2016 ?! I took the Kaplan at Cochran today ...NERVES WRECKED ! I wanted to know if anyone has applied to both , how will you make your decision on which to accept ? I haven't been accepted to either yet but this is just wishful thinking ? :unsure:

I got my Acceptance to Montefiore as well! so that's my dilemma :yes:. a good 1 to have but still a decision is needed. I got accepted to both , Monte is closer to my house but I don't know which is better ? I am also waiting on NYU but I'm about 80% sure ill go to Monte...all feedback is appreciated.

Look up reviews and test scores. Don't you have to decide soon bc Cochran gave me a few days before giving my $300 deposit.

I already gave Cochran the $300 deposit! I work in a hospital and the funny thing is i know nurses that went to both & they are the better nurses over the bigger name schools. But my last conversation (few minutes ago) is with a nurse he drilled into my head Cochran because he says they are individualized but the Monte nurse says the same about them and she says Monte basically holds your hand until you understand.

how are you already studying ? You have the books ? You are ahead of the game ! I've been googling since I decided to apply not much information on either , I guess that's why I decided to make this forum.

A nurse at my job was so nice to give me all her books from her school last year. I'm only going over the nurse process stuff we will study first semester, I know dosage calculations, and some lab values. I just like to stay busy. Well good luck in choosing. If Mont has the better teaching that a major plus. My worry is that the teachers at Cochran won't really take their time if I need help or understanding.

Heyyy everyone when did u guys took the exam?? I took mine April 14th and still waiting to hear from them ! I got a 76! Soooo nervous and anxious wondering if anyone that took it on the same day as me already got any news

Congratulations [emoji122]🏻[emoji122]🏻[emoji122]🏻[emoji122]🏻[emoji122]🏻[emoji122]🏻[emoji122]🏻 I applied to Cochran. I thought I read that u did as well! I'm trying montefiore for the spring, when they offer the evening classes !!! Hopefully I will get into Cochran and won't have to worry about it

I took my exam at Montefiore on 4/8 .. I was accepted into both programs

That's amazinggggg! I hope I'm in [emoji120]🏼 with my 76! How long did it take for Cochran to approve u!? The girl told me they will have a meeting today and I assume they will email who is approved on Monday !

I took my test for Cochran on 3/31 I received the acceptance letter 4/13. I am 80% sure I am going with Montefiore so once I let Cochran know that's 1 more seat available ! I am emailing them Monday. Good luck
