I'll try to answer your questions not sure if I can. I haven't been to the orientation as of yet but I'm sure they'll go over rules or housekeeping of the program. If the exam you're referring to is the Kaplan then yes you need most prerequisites complete to halfway understand it. If you mean the 1st nursing school exam I'm not sure I'm thinking more pharmacology or fundamentals.

oh . right now I'm reading Pharmacology & the Nursing process by Lilley chapters 2,4,38& 53. Calculate with confidence chapter 1-9 & do the test at the end & Fundamentals of Nursing by Taylor. I can't remember the chapters off the top of my head. But those are the books & chapters I can remember that my professor assigned us to read over the summer for Montefiore.

Did you get the books ? Ive done the health clearance. Just need Cpr , ordering uniforms soon not sure how many to get ?

A girl at my job just graduated recently so she let me have all her books ..they are an edition b4 so like if we are assigned 6 I have 5. But I am buying some new because the fundamentals is a completely different book . I've ordered 2 off amazon she didn't have like pharm success. But the fundamentals I'll order from the packet they gave . Well glad you found me , we will need a study group ! I hear that's the best way to get through it.

Hello All, I am accepted for Fall 2016, can someone who is currently attending tell me the day schedule ? I received my admission packet but it doesn't really say . All I know is that the clinical are 1 day a week from 7-4. Any assistance will be appreciated:unsure:

I'm not sure if the program is better , I came here to try & figure that out. I do know it is closer to my house & Montefiore is a well known hospital But they have always had day & evening programs , I went to the open house a year and a half ago.
