Hi, I'm a home health nurse in Georgia. My husband has been talking about moving to Montana (for the past 10 years!) But recently, he seems more serious, which scares me. Anyway, I was hoping to get some feedback from Home Health there... and maybe get to know some nurses.

I live in Bozeman and you could starve if working home health here. I worked home health here for 4 years and ended up going back to hospital nursing because I could not get enough hours to make it. I'm not sure if it is better in other areas of the state.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Have you always lived there? What's it like in the hosp you work?

We have an 86 bed hospital here. I work on med surg and work with a group of great nurses. Right now we are having some union issues and a change in management on our floor so hopefully it will get squared away. It is a nice place to work with alot of nice people and doctors who treat you well and work well together. Come and join us. We do have a hospice department who is looking for nurses right now.

I work home health in Missoula as an lpn and there are a number of companies that are always looking for nurses. I only work part-time but could easily work 40 + hours if I chose to. There are two hospitals here and quite a few ltc facilities as well an international heart institute. It's the place to be for nurses and medical staff.

I was the director of Home Health in MilesCity and though I no longer work there I do know the present director and she is hiring. The nurses get 40hrs a week and take turns with call. Go for it.Victoria:balloons:
