I just got notified that I was accepted into the Fall '22 Accelerated Nursing Program! Wanted to start a thread to other students who may be attending as well or those who are applying and may have questions. ?

Does anyone know where I can get an N95 fit test class ? Is it mandatory for the first semester at Monroe ? I tried reaching out to someone on the phone but can’t get through .

I also don’t know if the program is 12 months or 18 months I just know it’s affordable
The program is 12 months

First off, with ANY nursing program, you will be teaching yourself more than 50% of the time. Nursing is a completely different way of thinking, this is not getting those easy A's in biology, english and math. Nursing is all about critical thinking, risk assessment and reduction, safety and most importantly evidence base. My advice to any new nursing student is to start practicing you NCLEX style questions. you can start by studying and practicing questions on nurselabs fundamentals. complete all of them and read the rationales. monroe provide you a ton of resources for success and the professors are supportive and listen to your concerns, but in the end, you are the one who can make or break the program. the first semester is always the hardest but it gets easier as you progress. At the end of your first semester, you will be a completely different individual. good luck!
Hey! can you email me me at [email protected]? I had some questions. Thanks a lot

I'm currently in the process of Applying to the ABSN program for January 2023 and I had a few questions about pre requisites. Do all the pre-reqs need to be done prior to submitting application, can my transcripts be looked at by an admission counselor prior to applying?
I tried to ask these questions directly but had no luck with the school, hoping to get some clarity here.
No you can still submit the application.
