Monroe College Bachelors of nursing program

Hey everyone. I’m currently starting my application process for Monroe college Bachelors of nursing program, Fall 2021. I’m quite nervous. As I’m an average student, I’m on my last year of high school. I don’t have the best grades but I said, hey let me give it a shot. Has anyone ever applied there ? How hard was it getting accepted ??  After submitting your application and doing your interview, how long did it take to get a reply from them if you were accepted or not ? Also, What did they ask in the interview questions ? What is school like there ? What’s the workload like and professors ? I really want to be accepted. Any advice and information anybody has would be great ! Thank you.

Oh OK. Have you received an acceptance letter besides the one on your portal? I haven t receive anything other than the acceptance on the portal

No, same here. I haven't received anything in the mail. I want to get everything squared away as son as possible. Who's your advisor? Mine is Luz

Hey! Does anyone have a clear idea of what classes will be like for the fall? I’m aware some of us will need to take prerequisites before taking nursing courses. Will it be hybrid or what? Just trying to plan ahead. Anyone finished their first semester in the accelerated program, plz let me know

I got an email congratulating me on my acceptance, and it was with blackboard/email/Monroe grades portal information. Did everyone get the same email? I notice the PSW that came with the email only works with our student email account, but not blackboard login. Did anyone have the same issue?

Correct I got that same email on Friday

I got same email too, and was unable to login so I contacted the sender of the email and this was his reply

Ms. Okwaji,

 

It seems to me that you have not yet completed registration. You should speak to an advisor about this or contact Student Services - 646 393 8295

But am sure they will reach out to us when they start registration for fall students.

Thanks for this information. It does make sense that blackboard won't work until we have been registered.

I got the same email as well, but I haven't tried logging into blackboard since we aren't registered for any classes just as yet. Everything else does work.

Got an email about what we need to submit before getting fully enrolled. I'm guessing our uniforms are white for this year? And I don't really undertand the FIT thing is that in school or virtual?
