Tweety hope the remainder of your symptoms clear up

NJ22 hope the dogs are behaving now

Stars I hope the remainder of your day was quieter

Dianah glad his ankle is getting better

Yesterday was a bit busier for me than usual.  Did the cooking before church.  After church took the train downtown to have coffee with my friend J, since we haven't met in a few months.  Spent a good bit of the afternoon talking.  Was going to exercise when I came home but my legs were a bit tired, so I just took it easy

Today starting work a bit early so I can get through all of the emails I know that I got while away.  Hoping it's not too bad and that the work day is pretty ordinary otherwise. Nothing unusual after work except laundry and exercise

Will be in the low to mid 60s today I think

Good morning!
Joe, hope the day goes well despite being off Friday.

I had a relatively uneventful day.  Was disappointed with my GI system and I'll leave it at that.  Today is a new day.

Went to a grocery store and my debit card got rejected for fraud.  New debit card so okay.  Then I went to Publix a store I've been to many times and it was rejected there but not fraud alert.  Weird.  Called the bank today and they said it is locked because I gave an improper PIN # too many times.  Which is also weird since I was using the app and it charges the card without asking a PIN.  But since that's what the computer says I'll leave it at that.  They reset it with the same PIN and I'll try again today.  Odd thing is even though I didn't use the app I see a receipt on the app but the bank assures me I wasn't charged.  I do see the pending charge on a credit card I used.  Head is spinning so I'll stop.

It's always something.

Today will be routine.  Will go bowling tonight and am going to put my ball in my trunk now so I don't forget like last week.  LOL

Have a great day.

Tweety, that is a long time to have to deal with those symptoms. I hope that will soon be in the past.

Those trees are pretty, J22. Like Stars, we are still having near-Summer temperatures. I hope your DH has moved past blaming you for the dog's misbehavior, and that the dog isn't ill.

dianah, I'll bet that apple pie was yummy.

Hi, Joe.

Stars, let's just assume that your SIL was just having one of those days and feeling ticked off at life in general. Sorry about the hole in the shed roof. It's always something!

Speaking of which... Twin A had another accident Friday evening so this time the Toyota *is* totaled. Hubs told him he'd probably lose his insurance so he (Twin A) was demanding to know how *I* was going to fix this problem for him because he doesn't want to lose his job at the zoo, which is "the only thing that makes him happy." Then stepdaughter was melting down and bemoaning that we are so far away and there is no one there to help her. So, there you have it, y'all. I am a disappointment to the offspring. And Hubs was practically not speaking to me Friday night, too, because he is so frustrated with everything. Meanwhile, the washing machine has problems draining, but he thinks he has fixed it. The dryer is still thump-thumping. I guess it doesn't bother him too much or he would look at fixing it. But, by golly, he got the mast up on the sailboat. 🙂😤

Gma doesn't want to stay in bed at night so she goes in the living room and sits in the chair where, of course, she gets cold. Yesterday Twin B was practicing his trumpet and she yelled at him to "shut up." She spoke pretty clearly on that one, though usually lately her words are gibberish.

I would have liked to attend a rally on Saturday but had already committed to helping at the food pantry at the church in a nearby community. It was raining most of the morning and the turnout at the pantry was fairly low. I do not think it is because we suddenly have fewer people with food insecurity. Maybe they were attending rallies. I don't know. Sunday after church I drove 25 miles to attend the district's "charge conference" where there is voting on the budget for the church's upcoming year. This is all quite new to me as I haven't held a leadership position before. But apparently the district superintendent wasn't happy that only I out of the leadership team attended. So I'm disappointing other people, too. Or, maybe not me specifically, but still.

Since there were polyps removed in my colonoscopy I was told not to take anti-inflammatory meds for 2 weeks. It has been only one week but today I took meloxicam because everything hurts and as you can see I'm getting grumpy. 🙂

This is five (5!) cars that were totaled while Twin A was driving (going back to 2012, but still). Only one of those was not his fault. I'm sure his ADHD is a contributing factor. But how am I supposed to let him continue driving up and down the interstate every day? Then again, he is 30 years old. Not sure I have a say in the matter, except that we keep providing the vehicles, insurance, and fuel. Except this latest vehicle was purchased by his brother, not us. He has been, so far, miraculously, unhurt. Two of those accidents were in town and the other 3 were either on the interstate or on an onramp to the interstate. Twin A did drive to work today in our Jeep.

And stepdaughter is communicating more cheerfully. I shall try to follow that example.

Dogs are fine. dh is talking to me. We took the trailer to the storage place and dh and ds needed my help to get the cover on, but mostly I just watched them. The battery in the pickup went dead. I waved done someone who was entering the storage place, and he agreed to help us and then he drove off. We were able to jump start off the trailer battery. Otherwise, I would have called AAA. Then home to watch the Mariners lose. I am feeling grumpy today, because I look around at all the mess. In the house, in the garage, in the yard. To me, the best part of vacation is that things are tidy. And maybe, that was one of the good parts about working and people who put things away.

I finished washing off dahlia bulbs, and labeled them. I will leave it to dh to figure out where they will get stored. I potted up some baby plants to hold for next years' plant sale. I was going to go to someone's retirement party, but I haven't worked there in 2 years, and I think I'll stay home. I've gotten to where I don't enjoy big social events.

Tweety, I wish your gut would just behave!

Joe, I hope you found your way out of the emails.

Apple pie!

Ado, that is a long time to have to hold anti-inflammatories. I would think most wounds are sealed up by 48 hours. I am not supposed to take any, but occasionally I take a couple of Aleve. I've stopped my atorvastatin to see if I feel better. If it helps, I'll ask doc to switch me to Crestor. Thats what dh has done.

I've misplaced my debit card again. I'm sure it's here in the house and its such a pain to get a new one with a new number. Mostly I just use the scan on my phone.
