Tweety I also find that doing something productive helps when I'm feeling down

Stars glad you get a break from her today

Did the cooking before church and some meal prep.  After church went to the grocery store, and went for a hike in the afternoon once the weather cleared a bit.  Pretty cold but not too bad

In the evening met a friend for coffee that I had known online but never met in person.  Didn't meet long, which was good as a snowstorm was moving into the area and I wanted to get home beforehand

Looks like the snowstorm was pretty minor, only a few inches here.  Should be a pretty ordinary day at work and after work, just the usual laundry and exercise

Will be considerably colder today, temps only in the mid 30s

Today's high will be 47 degrees and it's kinda chilly out there right now, at 37 degrees. No snow here, but they do say there is a possibility by the end of the week. Personally, I don't believe it'll happen. But I will have to find a sweater for Tinker that is not too small or large; she's that "in-between" size. It'll also have to be able to accommodate her harness and leash somehow. If I have to cut a slit at the nape or shoulders so the leash will attach to the 'D-ring' like it's s'posta, I'll do it. It will require a bit of 'hemming' around the 'button-hole" so it won't just shred with use. Because I'm such a seamstress. Hahahahahahaha! Good thing I think that function is more important than a 'finished' look.

So it is 9:15 AM and I am going to have to get in the shower shortly; my hair says if I don't wash it, it will do weird things and stick out and flip here and there where it SHOULD behave and kinda-sorta of curl under-ish. Once I have it dried and doing what it's supposed to do, I seldom have to adjust it; I don't believe in fighting my hair. I found out when Farrah Fawcett's hair-do was so popular that my hair doesn't want to do anything like that, and sleeping with rollers in my hair never did any good.  It just wants to hang down.

As fascinating as this is, I'm going to stop here and try to use my time "off" to accomplish a little bit more NEATNESS in my personal environment. *Fingers crossed* and here's hoping I don't blow it off again. It's sometimes kind of discouraging that I am so VERY ABLE to do so!

Why, when I edit a post the 'submit' button disappears as an option?

Good morning!

Stars, you've actually gotten up early for you and that's a start.

How bad was the snow Joe?

When it gets cold in Florida, it's headline news and everyone is talking about the cold front coming through tonight.  Here's it's going to stay in the 60's and mid-40s through the night.  For this time of the year that's way below average and an Arctic blast to me.  LOL. Inland and a little north it will be much colder.

It was good to see my former neighbors at brunch yesterday.  One brother is now on oxygen due to pulmonary fibrosis but seems to be doing okay.  The other brother just lost his husband about six months ago but is doing well.  He is back on market and dating through Facebook dating.  He says he's the type of person that always has to be in a relationship.  This is the second time he's been widowed and moved on.  His first relationship though lasted over 30 years so he's used to having someone.  I'm the opposite.  Terminally single and don't need that.

I had pizza delivered..fat salt and carbs.  Yum.  Glad to see cheese doesn't seem to be a culprit in my GI issues.  Actually even with all that salt BP was a good for me 122/78 this AM.

It will be a normal day off for me.  Will make some lentil soup, go the gym and clean the bathroom.  Usually that's my goal on Monday..gym, cook and bathroom.  I have about a 50% record of doing all three.  LOL

It's called "save" for me and I see it.  Weird.

Tweety is correct, @No Stars In My Eyes:

I called the jury line last night, and found out I am dismissed for the whole term (1 week). I had mixed feelings about serving. The last time I was called, it was for a murder case that had been solved 10 years after the crime with DNA from a coffee cup. It sounded so interesting. I asked to be excused though, because that is when my heart started acting up and I just didn't feel good.

I took my Insta-pot into a workshop run by volunteers to see if they could fix it. My only other option was to ship it to the manufacturer and that didn't seem worth it. Alas, it cannot be fixed, but now I can move it off the counter and make some room.

I was so tired last night I went to bed at 830 and didn't get up until 7. And the dogs let me sleep. It's sunny and breezy here. Nothing on the agenda today.

Well, I don't always get the "save" button; after I edit a post it often just says to "insert other media." Sometimes it doesn't even say "other",....just "insert media". (I always have been a computers problem-child.) And when people tell me that something should be showing on my screen, it's like they tell me where it is on their computer, but my computer just says "HA!" 🤔 The brand I have is a 'glitch-master' 🤨

Dis two shayull pass! I do eventually stumble upon something which does submit the edited post.
