Tweety that is the disadvantage of small towns, no anonymity

Stars that seems wise, to let it go when you know you can't change someone's mind about you

TMB I'll be doing a similar walk this weekend if the rain holds off

Ado that was good that you didn't have to go in

NJ22 I have noticed that older people do talk a lot about health

Yesterday went well.  We did experience rain on our trip back, but mostly only at the beginning of the trip, afterwards it settled down.  Dad and I had lunch then we headed home.  Didn't do much when I got home except for some exercise and some cleaning.  And unpacking and such

Noticed I was feeling calmer this morning and last night.  I think I may have been experiencing some tension, first time taking Dad along to visit my aunt.  But things really went well.  Looking forward to next year

Today should be a fairly ordinary day, have some laundry to do but should otherwise be fairly normal

Will be about 50 again, rain should hold off for a few days

Good morning!

Joe, hope you haver a good day.

There was an Alaskan on tour to India I went on last Winter.  It was in the 40's and 50's some mornings and he still wore a t-shirt and shorts.   While the Floridian was all bundled up.

Nothing much going on today.  Off today.  Didn't sleep the greatest and feeling a bit washed out the last couple of days.  Bleh....  I think tonight I'll take my benzo and maybe sleep better.  I have an appointment tomorrow with GI for my 10 year colonoscopy screening.  Bleh......

I had to look up what movie Ado was talking about.  It's actually getting good reviews.  The new Snow White is not getting good reviews.

I woke up at 7:30 AM, unlocked the back door for when SiL arrives, and went back to bed and slept like the dead until noontime. Nannie (actually Momo) woke me up twice last night by going out into the dark, cold den, and just sitting there, with no idea why she was up. When I go downstairs to get her back in bed, she smiles and giggles and tells me she loves me and how I'm "so cute". Ppfftt.

Anyway, now that I have managed to use up the last few morning hours sleeping, I have to sort of re-arrange my itinerary. At least I have an extra hour today because her new Day Care place closes at 5:30, so I can wait until 5 to go pick her up, and it is way closer to home than the other one was. Now, I wish she was going to daycare EVERY day. Will I ever be satisfied?

I got a call from SiL that Nannie had a HUGE "blow-out" at the new place this morning. They fed her a big breakfast, in addition to the stuff she had at home for breakfast, and she is not used to eating huge meals. She ate everything they put in front of her, sooooo....it's a good thing that SiL had packed a bag with incontinence supplies and a change of clothes! SiL wanted me to know I would be getting the bag of soiled clothing back to take home when I pick up Nannie. So, there's my laundry for today! (And yes,, there are also dishes and trash to deal with, but that is 'normal' and not really urgent.)

Meanwhile I have to attend to banking and paying bills, and I have to stop somewhere for some of the stuff on my list, so my afternoon (or what I have left of the afternoon when I finish the banking, bill-paying, and other errands runs) is already shot. Maybe, soon, I will get used to this new schedule and can plan my time mo'bettah. Let us pray! I'd hate to blow off the help I am now going to be getting with Nannie-care. Time, it'll take time, I am  sure, so I will not beat myself up too much for today!

But meanwhile, UP and AWAY Junior Birdmen!

I would be tempted to toss the "blow-out clothes", just sayin'.

When we were living in Idaho, we took the kids to Disneyland at Christmas time. The temps were in the 70s and we walked around in short sleeves, while most of the other patrons were wearing puff coats.

We leave tonight for our trip to Belgium and Holland. I keep rethinking about what is or isn't packed. As long as I have my phone and my passport, I can deal with whatever I've forgotten. Eldest ds is taking us to the airport when he gets off. I am ready to leave this soggy weather behind, although, I think the weather in Brussels is similar, but it should be sunny on Wednesday.

Safe and happy travels, J22!

Tweety, my "boys" enjoyed the movie. Maybe I'm just old.

We are all sitting in the dark while Hubs watches basketball and the boys play video games. I'm going to go put away the leftovers, take a shower, maybe watch an episode of Call the Midwife, and then read until I fall asleep. Really living it up!!

j22 ~ Have a WONDERFUL trip!

PS: The blow-out clothes didn't have 'solids' attached to them. When I get Nannie up I am going to re-start the load of clothes (maybe TWICE!) and see how things turn out. If it is not a satisfactory result, I WILL toss the  clothes.
