Stars glad you feel better and will have some time to yourself

Hi Dianah and Tweety

NJ22 I sometimes clean the house too when I'm irritated

Ado glad Dory was good even if Binx wasn't

Busy beginning of the day yesterday, made a dijon chicken recipe along with some salmon before church, along with all of the associated dishes.  Ended up getting to church a bit late, which was fine, missed the Palm Sunday procession which I've always found a bit dull.  After church and coffee hour came home and things were calmer.  Worked on a CEU and exercised and watched Outlander.  Also looked at local park districts for pickleball but no classes available until the end of next month.  I'll keep on looking

Today should be pretty ordinary, nothing unusual at work or after work.  Will have something Wed night, then at church Friday for Good Friday.  Also have to thing my short trip is coming up less than 2 weeks, need to think about that a bit

Will be fairly warm today, in the mid 60s, although it will rain most of the day

Good morning!

Joe, hope you have a good day.

I slept relatively well out of fatigue.   I think around 6AM Waffles was trying to tell me it was breakfast time, but I snuggled her and she settled down.  I pulled a blanket on because it was a bit chilly as I left a window open in the dining room.  Didn't sleep much longer.  The "chilly" was 65 outside.  LOL.

Supposed to get up to the low 80's today but cloudy.  Off for three days.  They seem to be staffed okay so I won't work any overtime.  Might pick up a day here and there to help out.

Have a good day!

Woke up early and put out Nannie's tray with AM pills; fed Momo and we went back to bed. SiL came around noon and gave Nannie breakfast, got her dressed and took her away around 1 PM. I stayed in bed snuggling with Momo until they left. Now I am up and have to dress and go out to the PO and bank. Will start laundry before I leave. Then when I come back I will continue with the laundry and probably tackle the pile of dishes in the sink. After that I will see what I feel like doing upstairs in my two rooms.

Returned after 4 PM. Won $20 on a $20 scratch-off, which means nothing much. I'll get a couple of $10 scratch offs instead of the cash, and see if I can do any better. Fingers crossed. Eyes crossed. Toes crossed. Knees crossed. I guess those are the only things I can cross?

Didn't start the laundry before I left, so I will do so now. THEN .....the dishes in the kitchen sink. Whoopeeeeeee.

Hubs texted earlier that the heating element on the furnace stopped working and so it was replaced today. And the freon refilled for the AC (it has a slow leak) so there went $154 -- thank goodness for a good and inexpensive HVAC guy. Funny, though, I was just looking at that unit yesterday and thinking that a new A/C unit is one thing we need to start saving for. Y'know, on top of a roof, windows. etc.

Temps expected to be mid-30s the next couple of nights though the days are up to about 60.

I did not sleep well last night and had a struggle this morning. But have had a productive day at the office and finally made it through a bunch of emails.

We have choir practice Tues night, Wed night, and Saturday morning. There's a Maundy Thursday service that the choir is NOT singing for and a Good Friday service that we are. Then the cantata on Sunday morning. It's going to be a busy week.

But, the supper SiL brought me was hotdogs, coleslaw, French fries, and chili. 😋 It was pretty good, and especially because I didn't have to cook!

Got the laundry finished (YAY!) and the clean dishes put away (YAY!). Was watching TV and turned to say something to Nannie....and by golly if she didn't look like she had passed....I mean face pale, head back, mouth open, totally slack body, and I really had to peer at her closely to see if she was breathing! Well, she was, so I didn't have to make any phone calls (Whew!). But it was a 'moment', I tell you what!

Okay, SiL said she had the great-grand over with 2 of her friends, all 6 years old. Nannie and they sat at the table coloring Easter eggs, and then EACH of them had a 'bunny-cake' to decorate. One of the little girls saw Nannie start to lift the food coloring bottle to her lips and yelled, "No, Nannie! Don't drink that!" Exciting! And a smart little girl, too!

Got to get Nannie awake so I can get her to bed. NOT going to let her sleep in the recliner, as she has been complaining about her right neck and shoulder hurting. So....Off to bed wi' ye!

Stars, a meal I don't have to cook is almost always better than one I do 😎

I find myself hoping that the way Gma goes is that one morning she just doesn't wake up. So much easier for her and everyone else than going through being sick or hurt.

She has decided lately that she "can't" swallow pills so she holds them in her mouth and then spits them out. Hubs is frustrated. I suggested applesauce or pudding and checking to see if they are pills that can be crushed.
