Ended up not going to church yesterday due to dealing with a car issue
The previous day I had noted that I was getting low oil warnings when I made sharp turns. Yesterday morning I checked the oil and it was quite low. Had to wait until the auto place opened up and got some oil, then had to wait until the engine cooled down enough to fill it. By then church was over. Going to monitor the oil levels weekly to see if this was a one time thing or a continuing issue
The rest of the day was pretty quiet. Did the cooking for the week. Went for a bike ride. Watched North by Northwest, which I hadn't seen in quite a while. Had 2 white Russians
Today should be a fairly ordinary day, as long as work remains OK
Dianah, bowling starts the end of August. But to keep things easier, I keep the same schedule of having Monday's off.
Best friend get's some kind of gel shot in his bad knee from an old injury. He's been getting them a couple of years. When he showed up about a month ago they told him he needed prior authorization from his insurance. Apparently his former employer who pays his supplement as a retirement benefit switched to "Medicare Advantage" and now he he's to be authorized to get it. He did get authorized but it was a pain and too bad he showed up for his appointment before they told him this.
Ado, hope you make the best of things and can get home soon and that the treatment worked.
Overtime shift on Tuesday. Last one for a while. We seem to be fully staffed until people no-show, call in sick or they pull from us. The is a tech shortage, but they still give is 6:1 as if we had a tech.

j22~ If you got a shot and it was just the prednisone, yeah, that stuff stings and hurts like he!!, which is why it should be given w/ Lidocaine. It doesn't hurt as long as the lidocaine is mixed with it. (Just so's ya know) // When I had to travel, which I don't anymore ;( I always used AAA....plane tickets, (didn't need any hotel/motel) and I loved having a TRIP-TIK because I found the little maps easier to follow than GPS.
