Lots of restless legs last night, so not a lot of sleep. Oh well. No big plans for today, except for a trip to the grocery store (woo-hooooo!) and picking up a couple burritos from our favorite place. Yummy burritos!

Should be 99 degrees today, humidity 28%.

Dianah, sorry about not sleeping.

I was so tired I forgot to post yesterday. Was a busy weekend. We had no tech yesterday but we had 4:1 because they didn't know one nurse was off orientation. But it was still busy.

Had lunch with best friends and some of his friends visiting from Texas. I had vegan pizza. Before we stopped by at the park near my house. Was a warm but breezy and comfortable day.

Brother in law coming later to pick up his dog I've been sitting with. She has been no trouble at all.

My sister is home after going to spend time with my mother and father after mom's recently hospitalization. She got her meds straightened out and was a big help. Mom seems to be back to her baseline according to my father.

Well, hello there! It is another pleasant day here, 77 degrees and 56% humidity, so one can walk about without becoming drenched in perspiration. I did walk over to the grocery store on my lunch break because I had nothing to bring for lunch. I picked up some veggie egg rolls which weren't too bad. Very nice, OCD co-worker is on vacation this week, which is a relief. She's been fussing about our refugees who are coming in for screening and then refusing LTBI treatment and required vaccines. I am of the opinion that we give them the information and they decide.

Tweety, that is good news about your mom, and that your sister was able to help. I suppose you were still busy with 4:1 with your new coworker being a little slow to catch on.

Joe, glad that you had a good day. I rode my bike a little yesterday, but it was too windy to go far in the morning, and too hot in the afternoon.

Wow, Dianah, I'm not sure I could handle that sort of heat for very long. I feel trapped if I have to stay inside in the air conditioning. I do like a good vegetarian burrito.

Ado, that must be frustrating with the water. My community is forever complaining about the city water. The city switched to a well a few years ago and the taste changed considerably. And the cost went up due to required storm water treatment regulations. So every 2 months when the water bills come out, the facebook neighbor group lights up. And we have watering restrictions in the Summer, so of course that is seemingly intolerable, too. But at least we have water.

Ached all day, in every joint possible. Not actual PAIN, but very tiring. Felt ick-ish to my stomach and haven't eaten anything. I was drowsing in bed, being easy on myself, when hubby came into my room. I was resting w/ my back to the door so didn't see him come in. He DROPPED the box of books dianah sent me (and you know how heavy it was, dianah)...he dropped them from waist high so they really made a noise. Then he said (he'd been drinking, naturally) in a very ugly tone, "Well are you going to sleep all day?" I said, "I don't feel good." His reply was "Well I don't feel good either but I don't stay up half the night and sleep all day! And don't roll your eyes at me!"

Later I said to him, "I don't jump on you and get ugly when YOU don't feel well." And he went on again about how late I stay up etc. I had nothing to say to him for the rest of the night. He apologized twice, once when he went up to his room, and once when I came up to my room. All I said was "Okay." Brother-oh-boy does he ever pizz me off when he gets like that!

SMH, No Stars. Some ppl just don't see how they are acting, and how it affects others (especially those they live with)! This too shall pass. Hugs. (and, good the books arrived!! ? Yay! )
